CHROMOHO, Peter<br />

Clifton, N.J. – Peter Chromoho, 52, of Clifton, N.J., husband of the former Eva Warholic<br />

of Beccaria, died yesterday. The Buranovsky Funeral Home at Ramey is in charge of<br />

funeral arrangements. A complete obituary will be published later. (The Progress,<br />

Clearfield, PA, December 11, 1963).<br />

CHROMOHO, Peter Clifton, N.J. – Peter Chromoho, 52, of Clifton, husband of the<br />

former Eva Warholic of Beccaria, Pa. died in his home Tuesday. A veteran of World War<br />

II, he served with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Chromoho was a member of the Clifton American<br />

Legion Post, Passaic City VFW Post No. 504, Bethoven F & AM Lodge No. 154,<br />

Adoriam Consistory, Salamon Kemple AAONNS, and the Passaic City BPOE Lodge No.<br />

387. In addition to his widow, Mr. Chromoho is survived <strong>by</strong> two brothers and two sisters:<br />

Michael of Garfield, N.J.; Andrew of Key West, Fla.; Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Poleniak of<br />

North Palm Beach, Fla.; and Mrs. Alfred (Anne) Olson Sr. of Ridgefield Park N.J.<br />

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Vladimir’s Orthodox<br />

Church at Smithmill, Pa., with the Rev. Fr. Petro Petrush officiating. Interment will be in<br />

the church cemetery. Friends will be received at the Buranovsky Funeral Home, Ramey,<br />

Pa. from 7 to 10 p.m. today and 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. tomorrow. Parastas will be said<br />

today and tomorrow at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.(The Progress, December 12. 1963).<br />

CHURA, Anna B. (Cernik)<br />

Anna B. Chura, 94, of Hastings RD, died May 10, 2001, at Miners Hospital She was born<br />

Sept. 23, 1906, in Susquehanna Township, daughter of late Bartholomew and Anelia<br />

(Przybocki) Cernik. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her husband, John P.; son, John A.;<br />

brother, Joseph; and sisters, Nellie Cernik, Blanche Busovicki and Josephine Zoldak.<br />

Survived <strong>by</strong> her children: Dolores, and husband, James McCormick, Angier, N.C;<br />

Victoria, and husband, Arthur Valeria, Hastings; and Rita, and husband, James Freeman,<br />

Annandale, Va.; grandchildren, Kristen and Kimberly McCormick; and Emily and John<br />

Freeman. Mrs. Chura was a member of St. Bernard Rosary Confraternity and Legion of<br />

Mary Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and reading. Friends were received from 2-4 and<br />

7-9 p m. May 13 at the Easly Funeral Home, Hastings. Funeral Mass was celebrated 11<br />

a.m. May 14 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings. Committal in church cemetery.<br />

COCHO, Anna (Sitch) [Ostinowsky]<br />

MRS. ANNA COCHO SUCCUMBS SUNDAY<br />

Mrs. Anna (Sitch) Ostinowsky Cocho of Nanty Glo R.D. 1 died Sunday, June 18, 1967,<br />

at Memorial Hospital in Johnstown. Mrs. Cocho, who was 70 years old, was born Dec. 3,<br />

1896, in Smokerun, Clearfield County, a daughter of Frank and Martha (Hudak) Sitch.<br />

She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents; brother, George; first husband, Andrew<br />

Ostinowsky, and son, John. Surviving are her second husband, Andrew Cocho, and the<br />

following children: Mike Ostinowsky Sr., married to the former Mary Kuhar, Twin<br />

Rocks; Catherine, wife of Paul Sabonya, Nanty Glo R.D. 1; Martha, wife of John Grecek<br />

Sr., Nanty Glo, and Pauline Sekerak, at home. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, four
