road ahead, according to reports. The driver of the truck was not reported to be injured.<br />

State police did not release the truck driver's name or report whether charges would be<br />

filed. Investigators closed the highway for several hours while troopers collected<br />

information. The Indiana Fire Department rescue squad helped to extricate Berezansky's<br />

body from the wreeckage of her car. Baker reported an autopsy would be conducted<br />

Thursday at Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown and that Harry Bence Funeral Home<br />

Miss Elizabeth H. Berezansky- A complication of Diseases caused the death in Indiana<br />

Hospital at 11:50 p.m. Thursday, of Miss Elizabeth Helen Berezansky aged 18 years & 4<br />

months. Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Alex Berezansky of Dixonville. She leaves her parents<br />

and these brothers & sisters: Michael, William, Harry, Stephen, Annie, Mary, Eva, and<br />

Nancy all at home. Funeral services will be conducted in the St. John Greek Catholic<br />

Church, Dixonville. Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.<br />

BEREZANSKY, Frank<br />

Frank Berezansky, 89, of Clymer, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, at his home. Friends will<br />

be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bence Funeral Home, Clymer,<br />

with Parastas at 7 p.m. His funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral<br />

home, with the Very Rev. Archpriest George Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow<br />

in St. Michael Cemetery in Cherryhill Township. His family requests memorial<br />

contributions be made to Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church Building Fund, P.O. Box<br />

1101, Indiana, PA 15701, or to the VNA/Family Hospice of Indiana County, 850<br />

BEREZANSKY, Helen (Truhan)<br />

Helen Truhan Berezansky 59, of Dixonville passed away Friday, August 24, in Mercy<br />

Hospital, Johnstown. Born May 30 1897 in Austria she was a member of St. John's<br />

Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Dixonville and a member of the church Alter Society. She<br />

is survived <strong>by</strong> her husband Wasil, and these sons and daughters; John of Dixonville;<br />

Metro of Bellview, OH; Frank of Clymer; Alex of Washington, DC; Mrs. Michael<br />

(Mary) Lawriski, Mount Pleasant, Mich.; Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Oterson Dixonville; Mrs.<br />

Ernest (Sue) Jordan, Los Angeles, Calif.; Kathryn and John at home; eight grandchildren.<br />

Friends are received at the family home in Dixonville, where services will be held<br />

Tuesday August 29, at 9 am followed <strong>by</strong> Divine Liturgy at 9 30 a.m. in St. John's Church.<br />

The Rev Fr. Loshin Schemetylo will be the celebrant and interment will follow in the<br />

Church Cemetery. Parastas Service in the family home 7 p m today. (Indiana Evening<br />
