Catherine “Kate” (Harvanek) Bobak, 88, of Clymer, died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at<br />

Indiana Regional Medical Center. Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. today at the<br />

Bence Funeral Home in Clymer. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:15 p.m.<br />

Saturday at the Church of the Resurrection, Clymer, with the Rev. Paul Lisik, celebrant.<br />

BOBAK, Nancy (Legdon)<br />

Mrs. Nancy Bobak of Dixonville passed away Saturday February 8, in Indiana Hospital.<br />

Born September 27, 1889 in Austria she was a member of St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox<br />

Church of Dixonville., Surviving are these sons and daughters: George and Harry both of<br />

Clymer; Pete of Dixonville; Mrs. Ralph (Anna) Stewart of Brooklyn, NY; Mrs. Sam<br />

(Helen) Johnston of Homer City; Mrs. Steve (Margaret) Boston of Clymer; Mrs. Robert<br />

(Mary) Pratt of Jeannette; Mrs. Richard (Sue) Stephens of Clymer; Mrs. George (Julia)<br />

Petrof of Cleveland, OH; and one sister Mrs. Helen Dobish of Hudson Heights, NJ.; 18<br />

grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Friends will be received at the family home in<br />

Dixonville until 9 a.m. Tuesday when short services will be held in the home, followed<br />

<strong>by</strong> Requiem Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. John's Church, Dixonville, the Rev. Father Alex<br />

Zaryk, the celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery in Dixonville. Parastas<br />

BOLLINGER, Bertha 'Betty' (Rudiak) Crawley<br />

Bertha “Betty” Rudiak Crawley Bollinger, 80, of Hearthside Manor Nursing Home, State<br />

College, died at the home. She was born in Ramey RD, daughter of the late William and<br />

Sadie (Rice) Bennett. Surviving are her children: Patricia (Rudiak) Pinckard, Robert B.<br />

Crawley and Joyce Graffius; and siblings: Elizina, Martha, Jerry and Thomas. A private<br />

funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in IOOF<br />

Cemetery, Brisbin. Arrangements are <strong>by</strong> Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc.,<br />

Houtzdale. Nov. 11, 1925 - Sept. 9, 2006<br />

(DW Note: Aunt Bertha was the mother of John Rudiak Jr. And Mary " Dolly Tuft. She<br />

Death Claims Mrs. Botlock<br />

Mrs. Catherine Botlock, 77, 547 Railroad Street, Windber, died at 3:28 a.m., Feb. 18,<br />

1959, at home. Born Dec 11, 1881, in Austria, daughter of Andrew and Mary Mihalko.<br />

Resident of Windber since 1903. Married in January 1903, in Windber to George<br />

Botlock, who survives along with these children: Michael, 1151 Railroad Street; Stephen,
