IMHOFF, Helen Elisabeth (Lazeration)[Lasoroshin]<br />

October 17, 2004 -- Helen Elisabeth Imhoff, 95, formerly Hala Elisabeth Lazeration<br />

(Lasoroshin) of Urey, Pa., died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004 in Covington, Ga. Born into an<br />

immigrant family of modest means, she had seven brothers and seven sisters. She was<br />

preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her husband, Sylvester (Wes) Imhoff in 1966 and is survived <strong>by</strong> her<br />

only son, George Edward Lovish of Conyers, GA; three grandchildren: Jeffrey Lovich,<br />

Flagstaff, AZ; Cynthia Lovich Pandolfe, Honolulu, Hawaii; Rovert Lovich, San Diego,<br />

CA; four great grandchidren, one brother, four sisters and two step-grandchildren, Brett<br />

and Jason Carliss. She was loved <strong>by</strong> her family and will be greatly missed. Her legacy of<br />

love, hospitality and generosity endure in the mist of those who knew her, and we are<br />

better because of her influence on our lives. A memorial service will he held at a later<br />

IVICIC, Ethel (Lucas)<br />

HAWK RUN - Ethel Ivicic, 81, of Hawk Run died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, at 7 a.m. at<br />

her residence. Born April 27, 1921, in Irvona, she was a daughter of Frank and Tatiana<br />

(Lesova) Lucas. On July 20, 1946, she wed John Anthony Ivicic, who died Dec. 30,<br />

1976. She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church of Irvona and was active with<br />

the ladies' guilds of St. Michael's, as well as St. John's Orthodox Church of Philipsburg.<br />

Mrs. Ivicic ran a poultry farm with her husband and up to the time of her death was well<br />

known for her baking. She is survived <strong>by</strong> three children, John William Ivicic and his<br />

wife, Janis, of Centreville, Va., Irene Cavatore and her husband, Eric, of New Hope and<br />

Carol Martin and her husband, Frederick, of Hawk Run; and her grandsons, Matthew,<br />

Daniel and John Michael of Centreville and Gregory of Hawk Run. Also surviving are<br />

three sisters and a brother,- Helen Ninosky of Irvona, Mary Bihun of Coalport, Anna<br />

Moslak of Madera RD and George Lucas of Irvona. In addition to her parents and her<br />

husband, she was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> two sisters, Catherine Finch of Smoke Run and<br />

Sophie Mandell of Osceola Mills; and five brothers, Walter Lucas of Irvona, William<br />

Lucas of Westover, Theodore (Chick) Lucas of Irvona, John Lucas of Westover and<br />

Nicholas Lucas of Irvona. Mrs. Ivicic will be in state at St. Michael's Church in Irvona at<br />

11 a.m. on Thursday with the Rev. Gregory Lewis officiating. Interment will be at St.<br />

Michael's Cemetery. Friends will be received at the church today from 4-8 p.m. Parastas<br />

will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the church. The Lloyd-Dimmick Funeral Home Inc.,<br />

JACOBSKY, Elizabeth (LAZERATION) Elizabeth Jacobsky, Nanty Glo, Succumbs<br />

Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobsky, 84, died Monday, Aug. 2, 1971, at the Hillview Nursing Home,<br />

Altoona, ending a marriage union of 61 years with Samuel J. Jacobsky Sr. Mrs.<br />

(Yakubcak) Jacobsky was born Jan. 7, 1887, in Austria, a daughter of Michael and<br />

Catherine (Vavulick) Lazeration. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> a daughter, Mary, and<br />

son, Michael. Surviving are her husband Samuel Sr., and these children: Catherine, wife<br />

of Frank Zamiska, Parma, O.; Mrs. Ann Harsanyi, Maple Heights, O.; Mrs. Mary Mabry,
