Mrs. Heresco passed away at her home in Smoke Run Sunday. She was on the sick list<br />

for seven weeks when at 10 a.m. she was sitting on a chair in her room when death took<br />

her. The bad weather condition held up the funeral until Thursday when she was buried in<br />

HERESCO - Anna, 86, 824 West High St., Ebensburg, died Sept. 9, 1995, at Memorial<br />

Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Sept. 22 1908, at Elm Grove, Pa. Daughter of Andrew<br />

and Mary (Vancsurik) Zolock. Preceded in death <strong>by</strong> parents; husband, John "Rusty";<br />

infant daughter, Gloria; son-in-law, Paul Lauffer; brothers Mike, John, Andy, Steve;<br />

sisters Mary, Helen. Survived <strong>by</strong> these children: John married to the former Theresa<br />

D'Andrea, Nelsonville, Ohio; Steve, married to the former Catherine Mobley, Cresson;<br />

George, of British Columbia, Canada; Alice Vasses, Colver; Evelyn, wife of Frank<br />

Wainwright, Mesa, Ariz.; Joanie Ledbetter, Plano, Texas; 24 grandchildren, 30 greatgrandchildren,<br />

six great-great-grandchildren; also a good friend, John "Capt. Jack"<br />

Asashon, Colver. Formerly employed at the Ebensburg Coal Co. Store, Colver, and the<br />

Penn-Eben Hotel Ebensburg. Friends received 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9<br />

p.m. Tuesday at the Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg, where Parastas<br />

will be sung 7 p.m. Tuesday. Liturgy of Christian Burial at noon Wednesday at the<br />

Protection of the B lessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church, Revloc, the Rev.<br />

Father Anthony T. Kubacki. Interment, Mt. Herman Cemetery, Ebensburg R.D. 4.(The<br />

HERESCO, Charles Former Resident Charles Heresco Dies In Millville<br />

Charles W. Heresco, 60, of 201 Court boulevard, Millville, died at his home Tuesday<br />

evening after a long period of failing health. He had been seriously ill two years. Mr.<br />

Heresco was a former Bridgeton area resident, having lived at RD 1, Bridgeton-Salem<br />

pike, 35 years. He formerly operated a grocery store at the Salem pike address 19 years,<br />

until two years ago when he moved to Millville. The husband of Mary Wolfe Heresco, he<br />

was born in Utahville, Pa., the son of the late Evan and Anna Fox Heresco. The deceased<br />

was a veteran of World War II, having served three years in the U.S. Army in the Pacific<br />

Theatre. In addition to his wife, he is survived <strong>by</strong>: two daughters, Miss Charlene Heresco,<br />

at home, and Mrs. Charlotte Marich, Quinton Township: two sisters. Mrs. Catherine<br />

Vanish, Cold Port. Pa., and Mrs. Anna Guerrai, New York City, and two brothers, Frank<br />

Heresco, Meridian, Miss., and .John Heresco, Evansburg, Pa. Died Tuesday, November<br />

3, 1970.<br />

HERESCO, Frank Services for Frank Heresco, Rt. 1, Toomsuba, will be held Tuesday at<br />

11 a.m. in the chapel of Webb Funeral Home. Revs. Ed Grayson and Aubrey McPheeters<br />

will officiate, burial to be in the Mt. Gilead Church Cemetery. Heresco died Saturday in<br />

Rush Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Mae Gressett Heresco, Toomsuba;<br />

two sons, Frank Heresco, Jr. and Craig Heresco, both of Monroe, Ore.; a daughter Mrs.<br />

Deborah Chapman, Cresswell, Ore.; a brother, John Heresco, Ebensburg, Pa.; two sisters,<br />

Mrs. Katie Vanish, Coalport, Pa., and Mrs Anna Guerra, New York State; two step-
