JANESVILLE - Divine Liturgy will be sung at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vladimir<br />
Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Smithmill, for Anna Gudzan, 93, of Janesville and a guest<br />
of Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, who died at 1:45 a.m.<br />
Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, at the center. Fr. George Hnatko will officiate. Interment will<br />
be at the church cemetery, Beulah. Friends will be received at Kruise Funeral Home Inc.,<br />
Ramey, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Parastas will be sung at 8 P.M. Friday, at the<br />
funeral home with Fr. Hnatko. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to<br />
St. Vladimir Ukrainian Church, Smithmill, Pa. 16680. Born March 15, 1906, in<br />
Janesville, she was a daughter of Nick and Pauline (Dynianchyk) Pollick. Mrs. Gudzan<br />
was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church and<br />
the Sisterhood of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church. She is survived <strong>by</strong> three<br />
daughters, Mrs. Andrew (Christine) Nakonechny of Paramus, N.J., Mrs. Michael (Anne)<br />
Bak of Surf City, N.J., and Mrs. Julian (Mary) Grooms of Charleston, S.C.; five<br />
grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother and three<br />
sisters, Frank Pollick of Smithmill, Marie Nalesnik of Bayonne, N.J., Mrs. Joseph<br />
(Helen), Kohut of Newton Falls, Ohio, and Mrs. Anthony (Nancy) Korinchak of St.<br />
Michaels; and a number of nieces and nephews, She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her<br />
parents, her husband, Stanko Gudzan, who died on Sept. 8, 1987; two sons, Charles and<br />
John; five brothers, Harry, Alex, Charles "Wasco," Mike and Metro; and two sisters Eva,<br />
and Kate. (The Progress, Clearfield, PA).<br />

Services Set for William Gudzon, 100<br />
BELMEADE - William Gudzon, 100, of Belmeade, and formerly of Ginter, died<br />
Saturday, Aug. 16, 2003, in Belmeade. Born Jan. 14, 1903, in Somerset, he was a son of<br />
Anna (Lashinsky) and Andrew Gudzon. Mr. Gudzon retired in 1962 from General<br />
Motors assembly line. He is survived <strong>by</strong> a brother, George Gudzon of Houtzdale; and<br />
numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Gudzon was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> his parents; his<br />
wife, Rose Zavaldriga; three sisters, Anna Lazeration, Sue Shedlock and Catherine<br />
Wasilko; and two brothers, Michael Gudzon and Frank Gudzon. Mass of Christian Burial<br />
will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Philipsburg,<br />
with Father Robert J. Kelly as celebrant. Interment will be at Saints Peter and Paul<br />
Catholic Cemetery, Philipsburg. Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Tuesday at Reed<br />
Funeral Home, Houtzdale. A Christian Vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at<br />

Valparaiso and the Altar and Rosary Society, and the Ladies Saxon<br />
