three sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Betza of Erie, Verna Betza of Georgia and Ann Maschack<br />
of New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. George's family would like to thank the<br />
many doctors and nurses who cared for him during his time at St. Vincent's Health<br />
Center. Their loving care and compassion was very much appreciated. He will be forever<br />
loved and his memory will be eternal. Friends may call at the Brugger Home for<br />
Funerals, 1595 West 38th at Greengarden Boulevard on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.<br />
A Panachida will begin at 8:45 pm. A service will be held there on Friday at 11am<br />
followed <strong>by</strong> a celebration of Divine Liturgy at 12 pm at Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine<br />
Catholic Church, 3415 Wallace Street, Erie, PA. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with<br />
full military honors. Memorials may be made to Saints Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic<br />
Church.<br />
BETZA, John<br />
John Betza, age 88 of Jasper, TN passed away Friday, April 8, 2005. He was a member of<br />
Kimball First Baptist Church and a life-long member of the American Legion. He was<br />
preceded in death <strong>by</strong> his wife Mary, brothers Mickey, Stanley and Frank Betza and sister<br />
Helen Gallagher. He is survived <strong>by</strong> sons and daughters-in-law Daniel and Judy Betza and<br />
John and Nancy Betza, daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Robert Brooks, brothers<br />
Charles and George Betza, sisters Ann Maschack and Nancy Betza, grandchildren Bill,<br />
John, Barbara, Daniel, Sandy and Kenneth and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services<br />
will be Monday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with interment in Sequatchie Valley<br />
Memorial Gardens. Rev. David Hoschar will be officiating. Note: grandfather of Daniel<br />
Betza.<br />
BETZA, Mary Ann<br />
Jasper, Tenn. Mary Ann Betza, 81, of Jasper,Tenn died Wednesday, March 8, 2000. She<br />
was formerly of Reedsport, Ore., where she was involved in building a church there.<br />
She was a member of the Kimball First Baptist Church. She is survived <strong>by</strong> her husband<br />
John Betza of Jasper, two sons Daniel J. Betza of Roseburg, Ore and John D. Betza of<br />
Myrtle Creek, Ore., a daughter Barbara Brooks of Jasper six grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren;<br />
a brother John Kashtock of Coalport; and two sisters Betty Slugoski of<br />
Houtzdale and Margaret Brink of Ohio. Funeral services will be held Sat at 11 am at<br />
Sequatchie Valley Memorial Funeral Home, Jasper. Friends will be received from 7-9pm<br />
today at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Sequatchie Valley Memorial<br />

BETZA, Stanley<br />
Long Island, N.Y. - Funeral services for Stanley Betza, 26, a resident of Smithmill, who<br />
died at the Central Islip Hospital, in Long Island, N.Y., Friday, were held yesterday from<br />
the St. Vladimir Orthodox Church in Smithmill. Interment was in the church cemetery.<br />
Mr. Betza, born April 27, 1927, in Smithmill, is survived <strong>by</strong> his mother, Catherine Betza<br />
of Smithmill, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Michael Maschak of Brooklyn,<br />
N.Y., John of Tarrence, Calif., Frank of Pontiak, Mich., Charles of Fort Lee, N.Y., Mrs.<br />
John Gallaghter of New York City, George at home, Mrs. George Betza of Erie and<br />
