Jennifer, Eric and Bradley Bungo, all of Broomall, Sabrina Kitko of Hollidaysburg,<br />

Robert, Mark and Drew Kitko, all of Houtzdale, Richard Pusey of Philipsburg and Paula<br />

Aveata of Austin, Texas; and 12 great- grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters,<br />

Ruth Nalepa of Sidman and Kathryrn Harnish of Seward; and a number of nieces and<br />

nephews. Mr. Bungo was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> his parents; his wife; a grandson, Charles<br />

Matea; four brothers, Frank, John, Henry and Louis; and three sisters, Adeline Nesaw,<br />

BUNGO, George<br />

George Bungo, 82, of Viola, RD Smithmill, PA passed away at 4:55 pm Saturday, Feb.<br />

17, 2007 at the Clearfield Hospital. Mr. Bungo was born in Viola, on March 27, 1924, the<br />

son of the late Frank and Nancy (Latosky) Bungo. He served in the U.S. Army as a<br />

Corporal during WW II in central Europe. He retired in 1983 as a machinist from the<br />

Westinghouse Electric Co. of Buffalo. NY, after 37 1/2 years service. Mr. Bungo was a<br />

member of the Osceola Mills Lodge # 515 of the Free and Accepted Masons; Jaffa<br />

Temple Altoona, where he was a road runner for 10 years; Altoona Consistory Scottish<br />

Rite Valley of Altoona; a life member Joseph Hriczko V.F.W. Post #6245, Buffalo, NY;<br />

Life member Bellwood American Legion Post 424; a member of the MOOSE Lodge<br />

#1605 Depew, NY; life member Bellwood Sportsmen's Association. He is survived <strong>by</strong><br />

two brothers, John Bungo of Hollidaysburg and Michael Bungo and his wife Martha of<br />

Bellwood, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> his parents,<br />

six sisters and two brothers; Catherine Shumansky, Helen Bungo, Mary Bungo, Helena<br />

Bungo, Anna Zazworsky, Eva Tapchak, Metro Bungo and William Bungo. Friends will<br />

be received on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at the Kruise<br />

Funeral Home, Inc. 2550 Union St. Ramey, PA. Funeral Services will be held at the<br />

Kruise Funeral Homes, Inc., Ramey, on Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007 at 12:30 pm with Rev.<br />

Thomas A. McCoy officiating. Military honors will be accorded in the funeral home <strong>by</strong><br />

the Stephen Kandrach VFW Post 6321 Janesville.<br />

BUNGO, John<br />

Ambridge - John Bungo, 78, formerly of Eureka 28, near Smithmill, died Saturday night<br />

at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Eva Whana, at Ambridge. Funeral services will be held<br />

tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Vladimir Orthodox Church at Smithmill. Fr. Peter<br />

Kieluch officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the<br />

Buranovsky Funeral Home in Ramey from 2 o'clock this afternoon until 11 o'clock<br />

BUNGO, John<br />

John Bungo - Funeral services for John Bungo, 70, of Wickliffe, will be 10 a.m.<br />

Wednesday at St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, 532 Lloyd Road, Euclid. Mr.<br />

Bungo died March 8, 2004, at Manor Care in Willough<strong>by</strong>. Born July 23, 1926, in<br />

Janesville, Pa., he had lived in Wickliffe for 53 years. He was a member of St. Stephen<br />

Byzantine Catholic Church and the St. Stephen Holy Name Society. He was a U.S. Navy<br />

veteran, serving in World War II. Mr. Bungo was a machinist at Euclid-Hitachi for 36<br />

years, retiring in 1984. Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Anne (Rudiak) Bungo;
