(Dorothy) Sudik, all of Philipsburg, Mrs. Calvin (Nancy) Shields of Pleasant Gap; and<br />
two brothers, John of Williamsport and Mike of Philipsburg. Along with his parents, he<br />
was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> three sisters, Anna Williams, Margaret Czap, and an infant<br />
sister; and two brothers, Andy and an infant brother. Memorial contributions may be<br />
made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Church Hall. (this is where it ends, I don't<br />
know if there is more or not.)<br />

John Czap, 74, of Williamsport John Czap, 74, of Williamsport, died Friday, Feb. 7,<br />
2003, at Williamsport Hospital. Born May 17, 1928, in Philipsburg, he was the son of<br />
Andrew and Anna Sura Czap. He and his wife, the former Shirley A. Gray, celebrated<br />
their 42nd wedding anniversary June 4, 2002. Retiring from the Montoursville School<br />
District in 1990 as head of the physical education department, he also instructed driver's<br />
education and had been head wrestling, football and golf coach during his teaching<br />
career. He was a PIAA official for wrestling and football and a member of the<br />
Pennsylvania Sports Hall of Fame, Clearfield Chapter. He was an avid golfer. He served<br />
in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Holy Cross Church. In addition<br />
to his wife, he is survived <strong>by</strong> three sons, Dr. John P. Czap and wife Rose, of Loyalsock<br />
Township, David P. Czap, Esquire, and wife Kim, of Ardmore, Mark A. Czap and wife<br />
Jen, of Kennett Square; a daughter, Mary Kay Czap, of Selinsgrove; a brother, Michael<br />
Czap, of Philipsburg; five sisters, Mary Meyers, Helen Beveridge, Verna Czap, Dorothy<br />
Sudik, all of Philipsburg, and Nancy Shields, of Pleasant Gap; and four grandchildren,<br />
Allison, Andrew, Olivia, and Connor Czap. He was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> a brother,<br />
George, and two sisters, Margaret Czap and Anna Williams. Friends will be received<br />
from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville. Funeral<br />
services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Church, 1725 Holy Cross Lane,<br />
Williamsport, with his priest, the Very Rev. Daniel C. Kovalak officiating. Burial will be<br />
in St. Andrew Cemetery, Bloss Township, Tioga County. In lieu of flowers, contributions<br />
may be made to the American Heart Association, Northwestern PA District, 1704 Warren<br />
Ave., Williamsport, PA 17701.<br />

Mrs. A. Dancha, Vintondale, Dies<br />
Mrs. Anna Dancha of Vintondale died in Ebensburg on Feb. 10, 1963. Mrs. Dancha, who<br />
was 87, was born Dec. 7, 1885 in Czechoslovakia. Surviving are these daughters: Mrs.<br />
Mary Malinich and Mrs. Helen Branick, both of Vintondale; Mrs. Anna Yanko,<br />
Connecticut and Mrs. Mary Roman in Europe. Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and<br />
16 great-grandchildren. Friends were received at the Ondriezek & Ondriezek Funeral<br />
Home. Funeral mass was sung at 9:30 Tuesday morning at SS. Peter & Paul's Russian<br />
Orthodox Church in Vintondale <strong>by</strong> Rev. Alexander Perove. Burial followed in the church<br />

Birth: May 13, 1910 - Death: Mar. 29, 2006. "Grandma Kate" Katherine was born in<br />
Palermo, Sicily. She lived in Fresno, CA for the last ten years and died surrounded <strong>by</strong> her<br />
loved ones. Katherine had a joy and wonder about life. Her hobbies included cooking,
