FISHER – Nancy J. (Cook), 62, Central City, died June 3, 2009. Born Sept. 20, 1946, the<br />
daughter of Joseph J. and Eva (Kaniuk) Cook. Preceded in death <strong>by</strong> father. Survived <strong>by</strong><br />
mother; children: Douglas (Gail), Central City; Annette (Terry), Schellsburg; and<br />
William J. (Mellissa) and Shannon (Theresa), both of Central City; and 10 grandchildren.<br />
Sister of Helen (Noel) Smith, Carlisle; Marion (David) Yock, Central City; John (Jackie)<br />
Cook, Stoystown; Katherine (William) Mihelcic, Cairnbrook; and Karl (Misty) Cook,<br />
Central City. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Mulcahy<br />
Funeral Home, Central City. Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Central City<br />
Assembly of God, Pastor John Jackson, officiating. Committal, Daley Cemetery.<br />

FLUTE, Herman E<br />
Herman E. Flute, 61 of 51 Pine Street, Heilwood, passed away Sunday April 5, 1964 in<br />
Indiana Hospital. A son of Achille and Augusta Richards Flute he was born November 8,<br />
1902 in Belgium. Mr. Flute was a member of St. Peter and Paul Greek Catholic Church<br />
Heilwood and the following organizations: UMWA Local 7091, Heilwood; Heilwood<br />
Local 7091, Heilwood Slovak Club; Heilwood Sportsmens Association and the Tri<br />
County Beagle Club. Survivors include his wife Catherine Washic Flute; three daughters<br />
Mrs Steve (Augusta) Kochman, Clymer: Mrs. Raymond (Susan) Lindahl, Heilwood:<br />
Miss Eleanor Flute, at home: one sister Mrs. August Dufour, Glen Richey, Pa. two<br />
brothers Adonis Flute Poland, OH and Joseph Flute Belgium; seven grandchildren.<br />
Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home, Clymer after 7 pm, this evening<br />
where short prayer services will be conducted at 9 30 am Wednesday followed <strong>by</strong> Divine<br />
Liturgy in St. Michael's Greek Catholic Church, Clymer, Very Rev. Father Andrew K.<br />

Anna Forensky of Whitehall Township Anna Forensky, 87, of Presidential Drive,<br />
Whitehall Township, died July 3, 2003, in Kirkland Village, Bethlehem. She was the wife<br />
of the late A. Adam Forensky. A daughter of the late Harry Swistock and Mary<br />
(McClevich) Swistock Plishko, she was born in Houtzdale, Clearfield County. Survivors<br />
include a son, Dr. James P. of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a daughter, Denise A. Kolisek of<br />
Whitehall; brothers, Peter and Alex, both of Houtzdale; a sister, Christina Makatam of<br />
Hollidaysburg, Blair County; a half sister, Magdalene Peckowycz of Altoona, Blair<br />
County; and three grandchildren. Arrangements <strong>by</strong> Burkey & Driscoll Funeral Home,<br />
Hamburg.<br />
