HUSANITA, Eva (Warholak)<br />
Eva Warholak Husanita, 95, of West Scranton, formerly of Bridgeport, CT, died Monday<br />
in Allied Services Skilled Nursing. Her husband Stephen Husanita died in 1983. Born in<br />
Wyola-Smithmills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Suchick<br />
Warholak. A 1937 graduate of Scranton Technical High School, she was a member of St.<br />
Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Scranton and had worked for Devar-Kinetics<br />
Control Products, Bridgeport. She is survived <strong>by</strong> her daughter, Theodora Woltch, FL, a<br />
brother Theodore Warholak, Maine, 3 sisters, Anastasia Wallick, Theodora Kmoitek and<br />
Margaret Quibick, all of Bridgeport, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> 5<br />
sisters, Mary Brown, Anna Krasawski, Catherine Marcinko, Susan Krupinski, Julie Kozy,<br />
5 brothers, Charles, Paul, Joseph, John, and Michael Warholak. Graveside services were<br />
held on Friday in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst, <strong>by</strong> the Right Rev. Nestor S. Kowal.<br />
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Michael’s U. O. Church, 540 N. Main Ave.,<br />

HUSKA, Margaret (Lego)<br />
Margaret (Lego) Huska of Nanty Glo R.D.1 (Cardiff) died Thursday, Sept. 22, 1994, at<br />
CONEMAUGH hospital. She was 77. Born Jan. 1, 1917, in Smithmill, she was a<br />
daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Truchan) Lego. She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her<br />
husband, Michael; an infant sister; brothers, Peter, John and Metro; and sister, Eva<br />
Ricotta. Surviving are these children: Harvey Cameron, married to the former Harriet<br />
Appleyard, Cashtown; Margaret Cameron, Nanty Glo R.D.; George Cameron, married to<br />
the former Margaret Owatt, Ebensburg; Patricia, wife of Joseph A. Grata, Nanty Glo<br />
R.D.; and stepson, Robert, married to the former Lila Jean Evans, York, Also surviving<br />
are 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Huska was a sister of George,<br />
Osceola Mills; Harry, Colorado Springs; Alex, Erie; Katherine Torreance, and Ann Gnan,<br />
both of Aliquippa; Sue Miller, Osceola Mills; Mary Welsh, North Carolina; Mike,<br />
Osceola Mills; and Nicholas, Erie. She was a member of Holy Ascension Ukrainian<br />
Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo, and was an avid bingo player. Funeral Divine Liturgy was<br />
celebrated Saturday, Sept. 24 at Holy Ascension Church <strong>by</strong> the Most Rev. George<br />
Hnatko. Interment followed in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Ramey. (The<br />
