(John) Droczak of Auburn, NY, Luba (Richard) Morin of Charlotte, NC, Stephen (Irene)<br />

Berezansky of Lakeland, FL and Bohdan (Roxolana) Berezansky of Melrose, Adored<br />

"Baba" or grandmother of Taras and Tania Droczak, Jonathan and Stephanie Whiteley,<br />

Michael and Adrian Berezansky, Joshua (Meagan) Berezansky and Corporal Jennifer<br />

Berezansky, USMC, Great grandmother of Aidan, Adrianna and Teagan Berezansky and<br />

Tyler Whiteley, Loving sister of Luba (late John) Mokey of Watervliet, Myron (Jadwiga)<br />

Danyliw of Poland and the late Slavko, Stefan (late Maria) and Wolodymr Danyliw. Also<br />

survived <strong>by</strong> several nieces and nephews. The funeral liturgy will be Thursday at 8:30 am<br />

from the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet and at 9:00 am at St.<br />

Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, Watervliet. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery,<br />

Maplewood. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on<br />

Wednesday from 4-7 pm with the Panahyda service at 6 pm. Contributions may be made<br />

BEREZANSKY, Eleanor I. (Flute)<br />

Eleanor I. (Flute) Berezansky, 75, of Clymer, PA, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009, as the<br />

result of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near Indiana. A<br />

daughter of Herman E. and Catherine (Washic) Flute, she was<br />

born on April 26, 1934, in Madera, Pennsylvania. Mrs.<br />

Berezansky was a member of Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church<br />

near Clymer where she was very active in the church’s Ladies’<br />

Society. She was a member of the Clymer Board of Elections and<br />

the Clymer Borough Vacancy Board. Eleanor was a homemaker<br />

and very loving mother and grandmother. She had also been a<br />

former employee of the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer.<br />

Surviving are her two sons: John E. Jr. and Michael A.<br />

Berezansky, both of Clymer, PA; two grandchildren: Brent and<br />

Kelly Berezansky, both of Heilwood, PA; her sister-in-law,<br />

Shirley Rhea of Clymer, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.<br />

She was preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her parents; her husband, John Edward Berezansky in April<br />

2003; two sisters: Susan Lindahl and Augusta “Gussie” Kochman; and a nephew, Allen<br />

Rhea. Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home in Clymer from 2-4 and 6-9<br />

p.m. on Monday, June 8 with a Parastas at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at<br />

10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church with the Very Rev.<br />

Archpriest George Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Her<br />

family requests memorial contributions be made to Christ Our Savior Orthodox Church,<br />

Clymer woman killed in crash<br />

A Clymer woman was killed at 1:12 p.m. today in a collision of a coal truck and a car on<br />

Route 286 at Airport Road east of Indiana in White Township, officials reported. The<br />

victim was Eleanor Berezansky, of Hancock Street, according to Indiana County Coroner<br />

Mike Baker. He reported Berezansky, 75, most likely died instantly when the eastbound<br />

truck crossed the center line and hit herwestbound car nearly head-on. The truck driver
