BANKOSKY, Mike<br />

Mike Bankosky, 72, formerly of Clymer, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 1962 in<br />

Blairsville. Born in Austria, September 6, 1890 he was a son of Andrew and Mary Zinza<br />

Bankosky. He is survived <strong>by</strong> one brother, Charles of Indiana, Pa. Friends will be received<br />

at the Bence Funeral Home, Clymer, until 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24. Graveside<br />

services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Indiana. (Indiana<br />

BARNEY, Delores J.<br />

Delores J. Barney, 62, 261 Sarah St., Homer City, died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998, at her<br />

home. Mrs. Barney was a member of the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church,<br />

Lucernemines; a Democratic committee member of Indiana County and a former<br />

member of the Homer City Women's Club. She is survived <strong>by</strong> her husband, George M.<br />

Barney, Homer City; a son Richard Barney, Homer City; and Theresa Kent and her<br />

husband Ronald, Hamilton, Pa., and three grandchildren. She is preceded in death <strong>by</strong> her<br />

parents. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the C. Frederick Bowser<br />

Funeral Home, Homer City, where a Vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. A Mass of<br />

Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church,<br />

Lucernemines, with the Rev. Fr. James Goldberg officiating. Interment will follow in the<br />

BARNEY, Michael<br />

Michael Barney, aged 54 years, a resident of Clymer, died from cancer at his home June<br />

7, 1922. He is survived <strong>by</strong> his widow and five children, Michael, Jr., George, Joe, John,<br />

and Mary. Funeral services were held on Friday in the Catholic church of Clymer and<br />

burial was made in St. Bernard's cemetery in Indiana. (written on it is June, 1922).<br />
