CUMMINGS, Charles, Jr.<br />
Charles C. Cummings Jr., 64, of 300 Ramsay Place, Fairview Twp., died yesterday in<br />
Polyclinic Medical Center. He retired as a printer from Camp Hill Art Press, Harrisburg;<br />
was a graduate of Scotland School; a member of New Cumberland VFW Post 7415 and<br />
New Cumberland Pup Tent PA092 of the Military Order of Cootie; and a life member of<br />
New Cumberland Fire Department and New Cumberland River Rescue. Surviving are his<br />
wife, Beverly J. Gray; a sister, Dorothy Warcholak of Mechanicsburg; and nieces and<br />
nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Parthemore Funeral Home, New<br />
Cumberland. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Fairview Twp. Viewing will be<br />
from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to<br />
American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormleysburg 17043. (The Evening<br />

CYKTICH, John<br />
SMITHMILL - John Cyktich, 79, of Smithmill, died at 1:40 p. m. yesterday, May 15 in<br />
the Philipsburg State General Hospital. He was born in Austria Feb. 2, 1896 and came to<br />
the United States 63 years ago. He was a retired coal miner and member of the United<br />
Mine Workers of America. His wife, the former Nancy Mohnal survives along with these<br />
sons and daughters: Charles, Imperial Beach, Calif.; Harry, John, and Michael, DuBois;<br />
Stanley, Smithmill; Sam, Joseph and David; Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Carl (Catherine)<br />
Ordwein, Smithmill; Mrs. Helen Shriner, Allentown; Mrs. Orlando (Anne) Ribelli,<br />
Cleveland, Ohio and Mrs. Lloyd (Stella) Vreeland, Pine Brook, N. J. Thirty-four<br />
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held at 9:30 a.<br />
m. Monday from St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Smithmill. The Rev.<br />
Lenion Schemetylo will be the celebrant. Interment will be in the church cemetery.<br />
Friends may call at the Buranovsky Funeral Home in Ramey from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.<br />
Sunday. Parastas will be said in the funeral home at 8 p. m. Sunday. (The Progress,<br />

CYKTICH, Priscilla (Kephart)<br />
Mrs. Priscilla (Kephart) Cyktich, 64, Smithmill, died Friday afternoon, June 6, 1997, at<br />
her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born Jan. 24,1933, in Betz, Madera<br />
RR, the daughter of the late Jessie Sr. and Grace L. (Engler) Kephart. She married<br />
Stanley Cyktich. He died March 26,1991. Mrs. Cyktich was a member of St. Vladimir's<br />
Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Smithmill. She was a homemaker, and had also worked as a<br />
seamstress at J.B.C. Sewing Factory, Houtzdale. Mrs. Cyktich was a member of the<br />
Madera Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8822 Ladies Auxiliary. She was an avid bingo<br />
player. Surviving are her fiance, Larry Shomo of Smithmill; two daughters: Cynthia Ford<br />
of North Umberland and Debra Mick of Smithmill; four brothers: Omer and Albert, both
