He is a limited fighter, but he is probably the hardest puncher in the wordl
today ! I'd love to see Tua against Tyson ! This one would be a war and I think
Tua would win. I believe that Tyson should show to be a top 10 contender at this
point of his career ! At this purpose he should beat people like Tua, Rahman,
Briggs, W and V.Klitschko, Whitaker,Mc Cline etc. Tyson-Briggs would be another
very interesting fight ! |

similar story came from Archie Moore. To make a long story short, he was
involved in a fender bender with someone, and the irate guy got out of his car,
and grabbed Moore. He looked at Archie and said, "Don't I know you from
somewhere?" to which Moore replied, "You aint actin' like you do!"
LOL!Massimo - Bugner was big and athletically talented, and had a good
chin. Unfortunately, he didn't really care for boxing all that much, being in it
solely to make some money. I think he was always in shape, but was not real
active in the ring much of the time. He seemed to be something of a Teflon man,
who seemed to avoid damage, going the route with Ali twice, and Frazier once.
Joe beat him by a narrow margin, and Bugner was only 23 at the time. There are
some people who say he had the ~potential~ to be the best white heavyweight
since Marciano. He fought till he was close to 50, and won the European title in
his 40s. There are few of the really big names he didn't face when he was
fighting.|

working with actor Russell Crowe so that Crowe can look presentable and
believable as James J. Braddock, the "Cinderella Man," in an upcoming movie. I'd
see Crowe as the sort of actor whose ego wouldn't let him resist the tempation
to test Bugner at least once, which would be a mistake, even though Joe's 53 (he

Lyle and Shavers, but beat everyone else. His odd losses and draws, plus doing

posture. He won his last fight at the age of 49, and beat Greg Page when he was

I've heard Bugner has appeared in several movies, but I don't know if
any of them have been about him, or about boxing. He could certainly play tough
guy roles. Particularly since he's gotten older, he ~really~ has a face that
would give a Marine sargeant pause before starting a bar fight!Speaking of
movies, I read on the Internet that Bruce "The Mouse" Strauss, who I wrote about
a few days ago, had a movie made about him!I've heard Bugner talk
recently, and he's very well spoken and intelligent, isn't punchy at all, and

Smith for some version of the heavyweight title (IBF?) when he was 49. I think
Smith was 45, so I don't imagine anyone was floating like a
