This sweet botrytized Pinot Blanc has medium yellow colour
with gold highlights. Delicate nuances of ripe quince,
yellow pear, subtle honey and mandarin zest. Discreet tropical
fruit notes reminiscent of pineapple join in on the lusciously
sweet palate. Makes a light-footed impression due
to the pleasant acid structure and minerality. Lemon and
mineral notes linger long on the finish. Close to a Beerenauslese
in style.
KOLKMANN
The Kolkmann wine estate brings four
generations together under one roof.
The whole family live and work for
wine. 45 vineyard hectares are cultivated in
the best sites of Fels am Wagram. Loess
dominates the soils of Wagram. Horst and
Gerhard Kolkmann’s unerring dedication allow
them to get the most out of their terroir
each year. The vineyards are cultivated sustainably
according to ecological principles
with the goals of preserving natural balance
and producing wines with great vitality and
depth. In an exciting portfolio of white
wines with typical varietal character and
powerful red wines, Grüner Veltliner and
Roter Veltliner play the leading roles. The
Grüner Veltliner “Ried Brunntal” and the
Grüner Veltliner “Ried Brunntal Reserve”
convince each year with finesse and complexity.
