In recent years, the family winery has extended<br />
its top site, the Zieregg, by planting more<br />
vines just over the border in neighbouring Slovenia.<br />
The microclimatic conditions in the<br />
“Ciringa” (Slovenian for Zieregg) comprise<br />
ideal preconditions for authentic, elegant,<br />
highly mineral Sauvignon Blanc of astounding<br />
longevity. To reflect the unique origins of this<br />
wine, it carries the name “Domaine Ciringa”.<br />
This expressive highly mineral Sauvignon<br />
Blanc has been marketed since 2009 under the<br />
name Fosilni Breg (Fossile Mountain). As of<br />
the 2015 vintage, the Tement winery has been<br />
undergoing conversion to certified organic<br />
cultivation.<br />
