vines are tended attentively by hand and meticulous<br />

soil management ensures the vitality that<br />

promotes healthy grapes. Minimal intervention<br />

and gentle production methods are practiced in<br />

the wine cellar. This can be tasted in the vibrant<br />

wines. Each wines has its own characteristic<br />

soul derived from the natural aromas of the<br />

grapes and their terroir. Particular attention<br />

should be given the single-vineyard Wiener<br />

Gemischter Satz wines from the Nussberg and<br />

the Weissleiten sites. As of March 2016, the German<br />

star chef Juan Amador operates “Amador’s<br />

Wirtshaus & Greisslerei” on the winery premises.<br />

Chef Juan Amador achieved 3 Michelin stars<br />

in Mannheim before moving to his new home in<br />

Vienna where he has now been awarded 2<br />

Michelin stars. He and Fritz Wieninger have<br />

joined forces to create the impressive combination<br />

of a restaurant, gourmet shop and wine cellar.<br />

Pale green-yellow with silver highlights. Refreshing pineapple<br />

and mango with a hint of blossom honey and a touch<br />

of minerals in the background. Juicy, delicate white pear,<br />

refreshing structure, lemony touch. Plenty of finesse and<br />

Medium, lightly hazy orange. Subtle nuances of rose oil, a<br />

touch of marshmallow – intense and multi-layered. Medium<br />

body, discreet tannin, remains persistent. Despite five months<br />

maceration, plenty of finesse and a long mineral finish.<br />
