4.1 keep closed any communal main entrance door to the building <strong>of</strong> which the<br />

property forms part;<br />

4.2 not leave any property, goods, parcels or refuse in any communal entrance<br />

halls, staircases or passages in the building;<br />

4.3 not loiter or obstruct any communal entrance halls, staircases or passages in<br />

the building.<br />

5. When this Licence has been terminated, the Licensee and his/her dependants agree:<br />

5.1 To vacate the property and hand over all keys to such person as notified by<br />

HCR;<br />

5.1.1 In the event that all keys are not returned to the Landlord at the<br />

expiration <strong>of</strong> the Licence, any costs incurred by the Landlord in<br />

replacing locks to which the lost keys belong, will be borne by the<br />

Licensee.<br />

5.2 To co-operate with HCR in order for the inventory to be checked and ensure<br />

that all the items listed in the Inventory are accounted for and located in their<br />

original position;<br />

5.3 To leave the property in a hygienically clean and tidy condition; removing all<br />

personal belongings, together with all rubbish. If the property has been<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essionally cleaned at the commencement <strong>of</strong> the Tenancy then the<br />

Licensee should ensure that the property is pr<strong>of</strong>essionally cleaned at the<br />

termination <strong>of</strong> the Tenancy and will be required to provide a receipt as<br />

evidence that this has been done.<br />

5.4 Be in attendance at the move out, or nominate a proxy to be in attendance on<br />

the date agreed with the HCR Field Adviser in order to:<br />

5.4.1 Acknowledge dilapidations and ensure that any disagreements are<br />

recorded on the Occupation End Certificate (OEC) after taking into<br />

account fair wear and tear; Please refer to the dilapidation policy at<br />

Annex D <strong>of</strong> this User Guide for personnel occupying Substitute<br />

Service Family Accommodation (SSFA).<br />

5.4.2 Sign the Occupation End Certificate (OEC) acknowledging the end<br />

<strong>of</strong> occupation <strong>of</strong> the property<br />

5.5 To reimburse MOD all sums paid to the Landlord in respect <strong>of</strong> any damage to<br />

the property or its contents arising from any act, default or negligence on<br />

your part or any invitee to the property taking into account fair wear and<br />

tear, subject to the decision <strong>of</strong> the MOD in the case <strong>of</strong> any dispute which shall<br />

be binding on you.<br />

6. The benefit <strong>of</strong> this Licence is personal to you and may not be transferred, assigned or<br />

shared.<br />
