DEFENCE INFRASTRUCTURE ORGANISATION OPERATIONS ACCOMMODATION<br />
GARAGE LICENCE AGREEMENT (FOR SERVICE LICENSEES)<br />
(to be returned to the HASC on completion)<br />
The SECRETARY OF STATE FOR DEFENCE on behalf <strong>of</strong> Her Majesty the Queen grants<br />
Name: (Anite populated) “the Licensee”<br />
Of (Address <strong>of</strong> SFA): (Anite populated)<br />
a licence to occupy a garage located at (address <strong>of</strong> garage): (Anite populated)<br />
on the following terms and conditions.<br />

“the Property”<br />
“the Garage”<br />
1. This GARAGE LICENCE is personal to the Licensee and subject to continuing eligibility to<br />
occupy Service Family Accommodation as defined in Service Regulations.<br />
2. Either party may terminate this Licence by giving normally 28 days and in any event not less<br />
than 7-days notice in writing. In exceptional circumstances occasioned by Service reasons, the<br />
Licensee may give shorter notice.<br />
3. This Garage Licence will terminate automatically when the Licence to occupy the Property<br />
named above terminates.<br />
4. The Licensee agrees to:<br />
a. Use the garage only as accommodation for a private motor vehicle or for personal<br />
effects storage and for no other purpose without the prior written consent <strong>of</strong> <strong>Defence</strong><br />
Infrastructure Organisation Operations Accommodation. Care must be taken to ensure all<br />
items stored in the garage are safe and suitable for such storage, and is at the sole risk <strong>of</strong><br />
the licencee.<br />
b. Pay all charges for the garage including any for fuel, light, water and sewage.<br />
c. Keep the inside <strong>of</strong> the garage clean and tidy any forecourt free <strong>of</strong> obstructions at all<br />
times.<br />
d. Allow representatives, agents and contractors <strong>of</strong> the Crown access to the garage at<br />
reasonable times on receiving at least 24 hours advance notice or immediately in an<br />
emergency.<br />
e. Make good any damage to the garage or to the fixtures and fitting caused, other than<br />
by fair wear and tear, by the Licensee, or any member <strong>of</strong> their household, including family<br />
pets, or any invited visitor, or their pets, or to pay any costs incurred by <strong>Defence</strong><br />
Infrastructure Organisation Operations Accommodation in making good the damage.<br />
f. Vacate the garage at the end <strong>of</strong> any period <strong>of</strong> notice to vacate or when the Licence to<br />
occupy the property terminates and on vacating to leave the garage and any fixtures and<br />
fittings in good repair, fair wear and tear excepted, and if failing to do so to the be liable for:
