Natural Resources involves supporting the sustainable use and management of energy, mineral, land and water<br />
supplies; evaluating resource consumption and exploitation practices; and advising on related regulations and<br />

� apply legislation relating to mining and mineral processing;<br />
� negotiate partnership programs with the traditional owners of<br />
mineral-rich lands.<br />
� support the control of pollutant emissions;<br />
� advise on and monitor compliance with standards for the discharge<br />
of industrial contaminants and waste;<br />
� advise on regulations regarding industry practices through waste<br />
minimisation strategies and pollutant inventories (including<br />
assessment, inspections and providing emissions information to<br />
