� support and promote responsible gambling practices and allocating
revenue from gaming activities to community projects;
� issue licences and provide training to licence holders;
� monitor gambling and betting activities to ensure compliance with
legislation;
� conduct audits of accounts, procedures and machines in
organisations with gaming facilities;
� assist people with compulsive betting problems or gambling
addictions.
� support the provision of access to areas of public land set aside for
sport and recreational activities;
� manage bookings, programs and payments;
� control access and issue permits for the use of parks and reserves;
� supervise the allocation of sponsorships and corporate
memberships;
� ensure the availability of staff such as referees or umpires.

collection of statistics).
