The PRM and the Outcomes and Programs framework (Figure 4-9) align very closely when the PRM is applied<br />

at the government program level. The PRM is designed to apply at multiple levels and supports agency and<br />

business unit performance reporting.<br />

The process model that underpins the PRM can be applied at any level of an organisation or program. It can be<br />

applied effectively at lower functional levels of government (project, team, branch etc.) to support any initiative<br />

(social, financial, environmental), and is able to establish an effective performance measurement and evaluation<br />

line of sight extending beyond the program deliverables of government agencies.<br />

In this way, the PRM is able to support not only Outcomes and Programs Policy implementation (Figure 4-10),<br />

but also more detailed reporting for agency managers.<br />
