C. Implementation arrangements<br />
The duration of <strong>the</strong> project will be 18 months. The local government<br />
should encourage popular participation in <strong>the</strong> <strong>for</strong>mation of policies and<br />
management strategies. Communities and local governments should collaborate<br />
with one ano<strong>the</strong>r to ensure successful implementation of <strong>the</strong> project.<br />
The necessary resources <strong>for</strong> this project include technical expertise, academic<br />
assistance, financial funding, and human capital. LIFE-Thailand<br />
should facilitate cooperation among local governments and civil society<br />
organizations.<br />
IV. BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT<br />
