Mix program<br />

After pressing the AS <strong>3900</strong> will ask if the mix program must be<br />

used in this method if is pressed AS <strong>3900</strong> returns with the first<br />

screen of the mix programming.<br />

If is pressed the mix program is not used in this method and<br />

the AS <strong>3900</strong> returns to the previous screen. The content of the mix<br />

program is NOT removed and will be available if the next time<br />

is pressed.<br />

METHOD NUMBER: 1 SECTION: MIX LINE:01<br />

END OF MIX<br />

<br />

The mix method can contain a maximum of 15 programmable lines<br />

(including the END OF MIX).<br />

To scroll through the program steps use the and soft<br />

function keys.<br />

Press to delete the displayed step.<br />

Press [Enter] to edit the displayed step.<br />

Press to insert a step before the displayed step.<br />

To prevent cross contamination the AS <strong>3900</strong> will aspirate an<br />

additional volume of 25% of the programmed volume to flush the<br />

tubing and needle.<br />

and syringe speeds; programmed in the System Settings, See page<br />

34.<br />

If the mix is programmed the reagents and transport solvent are<br />

positioned on the following places on the tray:<br />

Transport solvent: vial 85<br />

Reagent A: vial 86<br />

Reagent B: vial 87
