Installation AS <strong>3900</strong>, prep<br />
To install the Prep option on the standard AS <strong>3900</strong> perform the following<br />
installation steps:<br />
• When the Firmware revision is lower than V2.00, then first replace<br />
the EPROM with the one supplied in the shipkit before you continue<br />
with the next steps, see section Firmware replacement<br />
• Replace the standard injection valve with the special AS <strong>3900</strong> Prep<br />
valve (VALCO #C2-3006 SPHMI); see page 47 for detailed<br />
information.<br />
• Replace standard sample needle, air needle and buffer tubing with<br />
the ones supplied in the AS <strong>3900</strong> Prep kit. See page 54 for detailed<br />
information.<br />
• Re-connect all tubing to the injection valve as described in section<br />
Fluid connections on page 22.<br />
• Replace standard Syringe with the 2500 µl syringe; see section<br />
Syringe on page 55 for detailed information.<br />
• Install the 24 vials (LSV) tray, see section Instrument Description on<br />
page 13 detailed information how to place the sample tray in the<br />
autosampler AS <strong>3900</strong>.<br />
• Choose Prep Mode in system settings, see section Prep Mode<br />
System Settings on page 37.<br />
