agua que maximizan el efecto
de captura de éstas.

Koppert leads the
surface IPM in Almería
One more year the
Koppert multinational
keeps on leading the
production and supply
of auxiliary insects for
IPM of plagues in Almería,
with a total of
6,150 hectares this year.
At the moment, the
main crop where the
products of biological
control of Koppert are
applied is the pepper
with a surface of 3,500
hectares. This figure
means almost 57 per
cent of the total. It is
followed by the cucumber
crop with 1,000 hectares.
For this campaign it
has new products to response
to the needs of
the market. In its big
range of products is important
to mention: Palmanen,
a liquid against
the damages of the red
pointed in the palms,
Citripar, to face the wo-
odlouse.
Other new products
are: Aphipar to control
the new aphids, and the
Spical Extra with a new
envelops of progressive
liberation of Amblyseius
Californicus to
control the red spider.
To face the Tuta, Koppert
has specific pheromones
to capture a
high number of insects
in addition to water
traps.
