Verificare che il pedale di comando «A» abbia una corsa<br />
a vuoto di circa 5÷10 mm. prima che l’estremità dell’astina<br />
«B» agisca sul flottante della pompa freno; altrimenti<br />
variare opportunamente la lunghezza dell’astina «B»<br />
avvitandola o svitandola dopo aver allentato il controdado<br />
«C».<br />
Nel caso si voglia variare la posizione del pedale «A»<br />
allentare il controdado «D» ed avvitare o svitare la vite<br />
«E», variando contemporaneamente la lunghezza<br />
dell’astina «B» sino ad ottenere il gioco prescritto.<br />

Rear brake pedal adjustment (fig.16)<br />
Check that brake pedal «A» has an idle stroke of approx.<br />
5÷10 mm. before the end of dipstick «B» comes into<br />
contact with the brake pump master cylinder; otherwise<br />
alter the length of dipstick «B» by tightening or<br />
untightening it, after having loosened off lock nut «C».<br />
To alter the height of pedal «A» loosen off lock nut «D»<br />
and adjust screw «E», at the same time altering the<br />
length of dipstick «B» until the desired play has been<br />
achieved.
