Falconcity will capture the spirit of ancient
civilizations and incorporate architectural
marvels of the world
T he Falconci t y of
Wonders, announced in
2005, is a project being
built in Dubai that will
feature life-size replicas
of the seven wonders of
the world such as the
Egyptian pyramids, the
Hanging Gardens of
Babylon, and other
famous monuments such
as the Eiffel Tower, the
Ta j Mahal and the
Leaning Tower of Pisa. It
is a part of Dubailand,
covering an area of 100
acres (400,000 m2) with
an estimated cost of
$36.5 billion.
The project is supposed to be spread over an area more than 40,000,000
square feet (3,700,000 m2) and will combine various commercial, residential,
educational and leisure amenities with entertainment facilities, apartments,
villas, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, health clubs and spas, and
schools and parks. Al Bayan Magazine met the Director of Link Global
Arun Mehra who gave us a comprehensive idea about the project.
* What is the purpose behind your participation in Cityscape-Dubai
- We are here to promote the Falcon City project. It is a project that honors
mankind through its various civilizations, a project that could inspire generations
about the power of the human spirit. This is where the world will see its
past, its present and its future. The Falcon City of wonders has been designed
to resemble the national emblem. The Falcon with its outstretched wings symbolizes
the spirit of leadership, pride and excellent qualities that the falconcity
of wonders will embody. The Falconcity will be a self contained and multifaceted
residential, tourist and recreational destination formed after the wonders
of the ancient and modern world.
* You, as Link Global, are partners with falconcity or investors
- We are investors, the project is ours but it is part of Falconcity. We are setting up
the uniquely conceptualized Taj Arabia project in the upcoming Falconcity of wonders
in Dubai. The Taj Arabia project is designed to be a multidimensional real estate
development which will consist of a luxurious landmark five star hotel, six mixed-use
themed buildings with lifestyle apartments. retail, restaurants and cafes and boutique
offices. A focal component of the project will be that the hotel will be much larger in
size than of the majestic Taj Mahal monument of India.
* What make the taj special
- The taj will be built as the largest wedding destination in the world and the
whole theme will be based as the “New city of love” and is for people to come
around to the taj” monument of love” not only to get married but also to celebrate
their togetherness as well.
Goldsmiths will be available for visitors to offer their loved ones gifts for the fact
that gold completes the love journey as both are precious and eternal. In order
to attract night time visitors as well, the Taj Mahal will glow under the moonlight
and delight its visitors with a romantic atmosphere. Some of Bollywood
producers are also interested in shooting movies in “Land of India and the Taj
Arabia” due to the fact that the surroundings of Taj Arabia are what a producer
is looking for in making a movie.
* When will the project be finished and what is its coast
- We will finish it by the year 2014 and it will cost about 4 billion dirhams. The
total project has a built up area of over 23 millions sq.ft comprising of various
residential and commercial buildings including a mega retail hub including jewerllery
souk and wedding boutiques which will delight the shoppers.
The Falconcity of wonders positioned along the Emirates Ring Road, a major
arterial highway connecting Dubai to other Emirates is destined to become a
unique tourist attraction and residential lifestyle community that will capture
the spirit of ancient civilizations and incorporate numerous architectural marvels
of the world. FCW is placed to become a cornestone of Dubai’s ever
growing tourist attraction.

الخ ‏راء المبتكرة بما في ذلك حاءق المغول الشهيرة والتي تهمل نمطا معماريا
متميزا.‏ وسي ‏م المشروع العي من المباني السكنية والتجارية بما يشمل مركزا
ضخما للتجزءة ويت ‏من سوقا للمجوهرات وصالات خاصة بالزفاف.‏
وستعمل ‏«لينك غلوبال غروب»‏ على تطوير هذا المعلم الجي في فالكن سيتي
اف ونرز والمعروفة ب ‏«العالم في مينة»،‏ حيش يت ‏من المشروع عة رموز
تاريخية حيشة للهنسة المعمارية من مختلف انهاء العالم مشل الاهرامات وحاءق
بابل المعلقة وبرج ايفل،‏ تاج مهل،‏ وسور الصين العظيم،‏ وبرج بيزا الماءل.‏
وقال رءيس‏ مجلس‏ ادارة ‏«لينك غلوبال غروب»‏ ارون ميهرا ‏«يت ‏من المشروع
بناء نسخة معمارية لقصر ‏«تاج مهل»‏ في الهن بهجم اكبر ثلاش مرات وهو ‏«تاج
ارابيا»‏ في ٢٠١٤، وسيكون الوجهة الجية لهفلات الزواج وللازواج حيش تأتي
مناسبة ذكرى الزواج سنويا ويتم تجي وعودها في ‏«تاج ارابيا».»‏
وكشف ميهرا ان بع المنتجين في هوليوود ابوا اهتمامهم بتصوير افلام
في ارض‏ الهن وتاج ارابيا وذلك لان المناطق المهيطة العربية في ‏«تاج ارابيا»‏
مناسبة تماما لصناعة الافلام.‏
من جهته اعرب سالم الموسى،‏ رءيس‏ مجلس‏ الادارة والرءيس‏ التنفيذي
لشركة فالكن سيتي اوف ونرز ‏«ان التاج ارابيا سيمشل نقطة جذب رءيسية في
‏«فالكن سيتي اوف ونرز»‏ وذلك لاحتواءه على ارقى المرافق التجارية وال ‏يافة
الراقية والتي ستست ‏يف بع الاحاش والفعاليات الرءيسية في المينة».‏
واك الموسى اكتمال البنية التهتية لفالكن سيتي الى جانب استكمال
الظروف المساعة في انشاء المرافق المختلفة مشل مينة ‏«ارض‏ الهن»‏ وغيرها
من المشروعات الاخرى.‏ ووصف مشروع فالكن سيتي اوف ونرز بمشروع
