Wissensverbreiterung<br />
On completion of this course, students are supposed to have an overview of the basics of International<br />
Marketing and it’s additional aspects of complexity in comparison to national marketing. They have a<br />
sound knowledge of strategies of International Marketing research to analyse and cultivate national<br />
markets.<br />
Wissensvertiefung<br />
In addition to marketing issues, students know and understand concepts and methods to manage<br />
sales and distribution.<br />

Instrumentale Kompetenz<br />
Students are able to develop country-specific market entry- and cultivation strategies and to adopt the<br />
marketing mix instruments in foreign markets accordingly. The are familiar with instruments of price<br />
management, marketing strategy, sales controlling, distributions processes, order processing and<br />
aftersales.<br />
Systemische Kompetenz<br />
Students are enabled to collect and process data and information from different, inhomogeneous data<br />
sources. They have skills to interpret varied and even contradictory information of foreign market developments<br />
in order to develop an optimized market entry strategy or to modify an existing one. Students<br />
are able to use the provided learning material for further individual knowledge acquisition.<br />
Kommunikative Kompetenz<br />
Students are able to participate in a group work in an active and constructive manner. They are able to<br />
explain and defend a viewpoint with well-grounded arguments. They are open about constructive criticism<br />
and are able to respond to suggestions for improvement in a reasonable way.<br />
