5. Apply the approved spyware/grayware only to the selected client computers or to<br />

certain domain(s).<br />

6. Click Save. The selected clients apply the setting and the <strong>OfficeScan</strong> server adds the<br />

spyware/grayware to the approved list found in Networked Computers > Client<br />

Management > Settings > Spyware/Grayware Approved List.<br />

Note: <strong>OfficeScan</strong> can accommodate a maximum of 1024 spyware/grayware in the<br />

approved list.<br />

To manage the spyware/grayware approved list:<br />

PATH: NETWORKED COMPUTERS > CLIENT MANAGEMENT<br />

1. In the client tree, click the root domain icon<br />

specific domains or clients.<br />

2. Click Settings > Spyware/Grayware Approved List.<br />

3. On the Spyware/Grayware names table, select a spyware/grayware name. To<br />

select multiple names, hold the Ctrl key while selecting.<br />

You can also type a keyword in the Search field and click Search. <strong>OfficeScan</strong><br />

refreshes the table with the names that match the keyword.<br />

4. Click Add. The names move to the Approved List table.<br />

5. To remove names from the approved list, select the names and click Remove. To<br />

select multiple names, hold the Ctrl key while selecting.<br />

6. If you selected domain(s) or client(s) in the client tree, click Save. If you clicked the<br />

root domain icon, choose from the following options:<br />

• Apply to All Clients: Applies settings to all existing clients and to any new<br />

client added to an existing/future domain. Future domains are domains not yet<br />

created at the time you configured the settings.<br />

• Apply to Future Domains Only: Applies settings only to clients added to<br />

future domains. This option will not apply settings to new clients added to an<br />

existing domain.<br />
