Using Device Control
To add programs to the Device Control program lists using the ofcscan.ini file:
Note: For details about program lists and how to correctly define programs that can be
added to the lists, see Advanced Permissions for Storage Devices on page 8-6.
1. On the OfficeScan server computer, navigate to \PCCSRV.
2. Open ofcscan.ini using a text editor.
3. To add programs with read and write access to storage devices:
a. Locate the following lines:
[DAC_APPROVED_LIST]
b.
Count=x
Replace "x" with the number of programs in the program list.
c. Below "Count=x", add programs by typing the following:

For example:
[DAC_APPROVED_LIST]
Count=3
Item0=C:\Program Files\program.exe
Item1=?:\password.exe
Item2=Microsoft Corporation
