As the last example in the table illustrates, the first digital asset definition in the
condition statement can have the "Except" operator if a file must not satisfy all of the
digital asset definitions in the statement. In most cases, however, the first digital asset
definition does not have an operator.
To add a template:
INTERPRETATION AND EXAMPLE
A file must satisfy [Definition 1] and [Definition 2] but not
[Definition 3].
For example:
A file must be [an Adobe PDF document] and must contain
[an email address] but should not contain [all of the
keywords in the keyword list].
A file must satisfy [Definition 1] or [Definition 2].
For example:
A file must be [an Adobe PDF document] or [a Microsoft
Word document].
A file must not satisfy [Definition 1].
For example:
A file must not be [a multimedia file].

cannot contain the following characters:
