5. President Neff addressed the Convention.
6. For the Baptist World Alliance, President James H. Rushbrooke
of London, England, made an address, and greetings were
brought by General Secretary W. O. Lewis, District of Columbia.
7. Fraternal Messengers were recognized and welcomed: From
the Baptist Union of Great Britain and Ireland, Stanley Plunkett,
London, England; from the Northern Baptist Convention, Harry I.
Marshall, forty years missionary in Burma, and Henry Weston Munzer,
Fabria, Occidental Negros, Philippine Islands.
8. A cable from the Baptists of Russia was received, and Louie
D. Newton was authorized to make reply:
