retained.
A rising vote of thanks was extended Chairman Barton and Committee
for their faithful service.
45. On motion of Bryan Simmons, Mississippi, the Convention
adjourned till 7:30 P.M. At the President's request, Chas. W. Daniel,
ill at his home in Georgia, was remembered in the benedictory prayer
led by Duke K. McCall.
THURSDAY—Evening Session
46. The evening session was held in the Bandshell Amphithea
President Neff in the chair. The service of song was led by Director
McKinney. Allen W. Graves, Virginia, read the Scripture and led
in prayer. .
47. The report of the Foreign Mission Board being the speci
