During the past year 251 Junior classes and 85 Junior departments were
recognized as Standard. A total of 4,256 awards were given for completion of
work in the Junior training course.
A new help for Junior superintendents came from the press this year
the Junior Superintendent's Manual, prepared especially for the guidance of
superintendents in schools using the Graded Lessons, but offering rich source
materials and practical information for Junior workers in class Sunday schools,
also.
No period of childhood is more important than the Junior years—the time
when boys and girls most gladly and unreservedly make decision for Christ;
the time when attitudes and habits are clinched, when the capacity for memorization
is perhaps greatest. Their spiritual welfare is our most serious responsibility.
