____ Up to 2 m tall, much-branched shrub with slender shoots and<br />
slightly overhanging shoots; leaves ovate, up to 5 cm long, dark<br />
green, with an early shoot break; flowers pink-white, appearing<br />
in June/September; fruits numerous, white, round, lasting long<br />
through the winter - a valuable shrub for hedgings and as undergrowth<br />
plant, equally a good honey-producing plant. H, St.<br />

____ A very broad, bushy and low growing shrub up to 50 cm tall. Leaves<br />
are small, bluish to greyish green, 2 to 3 cm wide and 3 to<br />
5 cm long, turning yellow to greenish yellow in autumn. Flowers<br />
white, appearing in June. Fruits white, ca. 1 cm in diameter. An<br />
undemanding, extremely hardy plant from Sweden, aptly suitable<br />
for mass planting as ground covers, greening of street borders<br />

____ An attractve, very loosely, yet much-branched shrub, reaching<br />
about man´s height; leaves 2 cm long, egg-shaped, dark green<br />
above, bluish-green underneath, staying long through the winter;<br />

fruits round, red with white spots - tolerant to shade, suitable for<br />
undergrowth planting. H, St. Zone 4.<br />
