____ Up to 3 m tall, tightly upright-growing, much-branched shrub;<br />

leaves rough, 4 to 8 cm long, elliptic with pointed ends; flowers<br />

very fragrant, pink-white, borne in March/April in 3 to 5 cm long,<br />

dense panicles, first flowers appear often as early as December<br />

- a lovely flowering plant for fresh soils that blooms before<br />

spring. S, St. Zone 6b.<br />

farreri ´Nanum´ - Dwarf Fragrant Viburnum NEW!<br />

____ A small shrub, up to 1 m tall with very fine and thick branching<br />

network. Branches reddish brown. Leaves somewhat smaller<br />

than the species. Flowers appear before the leaves, buds are<br />

pink, turning white in blossom, having a sweet scent, appearing<br />

from November to March depending on the weather. A lovely,<br />

small and hardy cultivar, flowering before spring. K, S, St, Z.<br />
