____ Having a similar growing habit as ´Pfitzeriana´, though much<br />

densely branched; foliage mostly needle-like and piercing, silvery<br />

blue to greyish-green, with traces of purple-blue in winter - a<br />

valuable, American cultivar. D, K, R, St. Zone 5a.<br />

media ´Plumosa Aurea´ (= J. chin. procumbens aurea, J. chin. var. globosa aurea) -<br />

____ A dwarf cultivar, growing irregularly up to 1 m tall, with archlike<br />

and spreading branches and mostly scale-like leaves, at<br />

first golden yellow, turning yellowish-green in summer and later<br />

____ A dense, low-lying and spreading shrub with upward striving<br />

branches and foliage, fresh green leaves - a popular and widely<br />

scopulorum ´Blue Arrow´ -<br />

____ Having similar growing form as J. scopulorum ´Skyrocket´, but<br />

surpasses in its stronger bluish-coloured foliage, a much more<br />

compact growing habit (no breaking of axillary branches), suffer<br />

less under pressure from snow as well as from die-back that<br />

attack most junipers - a valuable newcomer. D, K, R, S, St. Zone<br />
