growing habit and strictly upright branches that lie close to one<br />
another; foliage vivid bluish-green - one of the narrowest-growing<br />
and pillar-like conifers, a good substitute of the real cypresses<br />
of the mediterranean region for the Northern Hemisphere. D, K,<br />

squamata ´Blue Carpet´ - Blue Carpet Juniper<br />
____ Resulted from a shoot mutation of ´Meyeri´, growing very flat<br />
and spreading, hardly more than 30 cm in height; leaves needle-like,<br />

sunny to semi-shady positions: a Gold Medallion award winner<br />
