____ A slow-growing cultivar, originating from Hannover-Herrenhausen,
with an even, compact-growing habit; an especially dense
foliage due to the short gaps between internodes; leaves at
shoot break are bluish-green, turning dark green in winter - a valuable
enrichment to the available range of box plants through its
intensive leaf colour and hardiness, hardly any pruning needed.
The ´Mercedes´ amongst the cultivars for low border hedging. D,
