____ A deciduous, bushy and well-branched, with a scarcely climbing<br />

habit, reaching about 3 m high; leaves bluish underneath;<br />

flowers intensive rosy-red on the outer surface, yellow inside,<br />

while carmine as flower buds, borne in July/August in whorls<br />

on long-stalked spikes - an established, free-flowering cultivar.<br />

henryi - Henry´s Honeysuckle<br />

____ A very strong-growing, evergreen climber, reaching up to 5 m,<br />

with 4 to 9 cm lanceolate, glossy dark green leaves; flowers reddish<br />

to yellow-red, appearing in June/July - a valuable, hardy<br />

climber, tolerant to shade. Zone 6b.<br />

periclymenum ´Serotina´ - Woodbine<br />

____ A strong-growing, twining plant, reaching 3 to 4 m high; flowers<br />

appearing in June/July, with a bright red outer surface and white<br />

within; fruits bright red, and last long on plant - a very free-flowering<br />

cultivar with intensive-coloured flowers. Zone 6a.<br />

tellmanniana - Tellman Honeysuckle<br />

____ A deciduous, very strong-growing, twining plant, reaching 5 to<br />

6 m high; leaves elliptic to oval, deep green above, white and<br />

downy underneath; flowers deep orange-yellow, appearing in<br />

May/June in whorls on terminal ends of the uppermost leaves<br />

that are united together - one of the most valuable, twining cultivars.<br />

inconspicuous, greenish-white, appearing in July/August; fruits<br />
