If you have multiple mailing systems, the Station ID provides you with a
way of identifying each system. The Station ID appears on accounting reports.
1. Press the Accounts key.
2. Press the right arrow key to enter the “Set Up Accounts” screen.
3. Scroll down and select Set Station ID.
4. Type in a unique alphanumeric identification, up to two characters in
length and press Enter.
If your mailing system uses AccuTrac accounting, you must first log on to
AccuTrac before using the system for processing mail. At startup the Accu-
Trac log on screen appears. This log on screen appears on both the mailing
system screen and the AccuTrac ADS screen. You can log on using
either screen.
1. Enter your AccuTrac operator ID number and press Enter.
2. Enter your password and press Enter.
3. The AccuTrac select screen appears. You must enter the account, subaccount
and subsubaccount number. After entering the account numbers
press Enter.
4. Enter a job number and press Enter.
5. Enter a surcharge amount and press Enter.
6. The mailing system’s main screen appears. You can now process mail.
(See your AccuTrac User Guide for instructions on using AccuTrac accounting.)
If your AccuTrac accounting goes down during mail processing, your will
receive the message “AccuTrac Not Responding”. You will be prompted to
check that AccuTrac is turned on and if it’s connected to the system.
During the down period, you will be given the option to store the processed
data locally on the mailing system. Select “Yes” to store the data locally.
When AccuTrac comes back online, the data will automatically upload to
AccuTrac.
