Cleaning or<br />
Replacing the<br />
Moistener Brush<br />
1. Lift the feed cover.<br />
2. Push down on the moistener<br />
brush button.<br />
3. Grasp the moistener brush assembly<br />
<strong>and</strong> pull it straight out<br />
towards you.<br />
4. Clean the moistening brush by<br />
running the brush under warm<br />
water.<br />
5. If you need to clean or replace<br />
the wick, go to Cleaning or<br />
Replacing the Wick procedure<br />
below. Otherwise go to step 6.<br />
6. Replace the existing clean<br />
moistener brush assembly,<br />
or install a new one by pushing<br />
the assembly back on its<br />
track until it snaps into position.<br />
7. Check to make sure that the<br />
flap blade of the moistener<br />
brush assembly is under<br />
(<strong>and</strong> not over) the stripper<br />
finger as shown here.<br />

8. Verify that the moistener brush assembly is perfectly level with the feed<br />
deck<br />
