This option allows you to set the minimum weight that a piece of mail<br />

must weigh in order to use the differential weighing mode to print postage<br />

on a tape or on a piece of mail. For more information on differential<br />

weighing, refer to the Select the Postage Mode section in Chapter 4 in this<br />

guide.<br />

1. Press the Menu key on the control centre <strong>and</strong> select Set Up. Press the<br />

down arrow key <strong>and</strong> select Scale/Rates.<br />

2. Select the Diff Weigh Trip Weight option <strong>and</strong> use the numeric keypad<br />

to enter the trip weight.<br />

3. Press the Enter key to set the weight.<br />

You select this option to enter your geographical location code. You must<br />

enter this code so that your mailing system can calibrate (set to zero) the<br />

scale correctly.<br />

1. Press the Menu key on the control centre <strong>and</strong> select Set Up. Press the<br />

down arrow key <strong>and</strong> select Scale/Rates.<br />

2. Select Location Code <strong>and</strong> then use the numeric keypad to enter the<br />

code supplied by Pitney Bowes.<br />

Press the Help key for a list of codes.<br />

3. Press Enter.<br />

This option allows you to specify how you want your mailing system to<br />

clear Zone <strong>and</strong> Class information when you add a new piece of mail to the<br />

scale.<br />

1. Press the Menu key on the control centre <strong>and</strong> select Set Up. Press the<br />

down arrow key <strong>and</strong> select Scale/Rates.<br />

2. To clear Class information, select Class set to None when new mailpiece<br />

is placed on scale.<br />

3. To clear the Zone informaiton, select Zone is cleared when new mailpiece<br />

is placed on scale.<br />

4. Press Enter.<br />
