2. Remove the cap from the bottle.<br />
3. Add enough E-Z Seal to bring<br />
the level up to the bottom of the<br />
fill cap.<br />
4. Replace <strong>and</strong> tighten the cap <strong>and</strong> replace the bottle. The nozzle should<br />
be facing down <strong>and</strong> the flat side of the bottle facing the front of the system.<br />
5. Close the feed cover.<br />
CAUTION! Do not overfill the E-Z Seal bottle!<br />
CAUTION! Make sure you do not spill any solution in the tape<br />
well. If the tape gets wet, it can warp <strong>and</strong> cause a stall.<br />
This section describes how to clean <strong>and</strong>/or replace the part of your mailing<br />
system that moistens the flap on the envelope. This part of the mailing<br />
system is the moistener brush assembly <strong>and</strong> consists of the moistener<br />
brush, moistener wick <strong>and</strong> moistener tank.<br />
If the seal quality does not improve after cleaning, you can replace the<br />
wick or moistener brush as needed. To order replacements, refer to Chapter<br />
11, Supplies <strong>and</strong> Options in this guide. Only a Pitney Bowes representative<br />
can install a new moistener tank.<br />
CAUTION! Never remove the E-Z Seal bottle <strong>and</strong> the moistener<br />
tank at the same time. This can result in E-Z Seal leaking into the<br />
mailing machine.<br />
