Wonderful to state, it became so light, that no difficulty was experienced in bringing it back. Asoka, O-yuh-wang jlpj ^ 3£ (1), was thus placed in the new shrine, and honoured there for generations. Hwei-yuen *| jg lived at Lu-shan g \\} for over 30 years, and led there a life of seclusion from the outside world. The only visits which he received were those of 18 famous scholars, who ever held him in high esteem.
