The following example specifies <strong>the</strong> group named harig as a version 3 user requiring both<br />

au<strong>the</strong>ntication and encryption and read access limited to <strong>the</strong> read named rview.<br />

Syntax snmp-server host ip-address | ipv6-address [traps | in<strong>for</strong>ms] [version 1 | 2c | 3]<br />

[auth | no auth | priv] [community-string] [udp-port port-number] [notification-type]<br />

Parameters<br />

Note: For IPv6 ACLs, only IPv6 and UDP types are valid <strong>for</strong> SNMP; TCP, ICMP rules<br />

are not valid <strong>for</strong> SNMP. In IPv6 ACLs port rules are not valids <strong>for</strong> SNMP.<br />

Note: The number of configurable groups is limited to 16 groups.<br />

Display <strong>the</strong> group name, security model, view status, and storage type<br />

of each group.<br />

To remove <strong>the</strong> SNMP host, use <strong>the</strong> no snmp-server host ip-address [traps | in<strong>for</strong>ms]<br />

[version 1 | 2c | 3] [auth | noauth | priv] [community-string] [udp-port number]<br />

[notification-type] command.<br />

ip-address Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword host followed by <strong>the</strong> IP address of <strong>the</strong> host<br />

(configurable hosts is limited to 16).<br />

ipv6-address Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword host followed by <strong>the</strong> IPv6 address of <strong>the</strong> host in <strong>the</strong><br />

x:x:x:x::x <strong>for</strong>mat.<br />

The :: notation specifies successive hexadecimal fields of zero<br />

traps (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword traps to send trap notifications to <strong>the</strong><br />

specified host.<br />

Default: traps<br />

in<strong>for</strong>ms (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword in<strong>for</strong>ms to send in<strong>for</strong>m notifications to<br />
