seq c e s Assign a sequence number to a deny or permit filter in a MAC access list while creating <strong>the</strong><br />

To remove this filter, use <strong>the</strong> no seq sequence-number command.<br />

sequence-number Enter a number between 0 and 65535.<br />

deny Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword deny to configure a filter to drop packets<br />

meeting this condition.<br />

permit Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword permit to configure a filter to <strong>for</strong>ward<br />

packets meeting this criteria.<br />

any Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword any to filter all packets.<br />

mac-source-address Enter a MAC address in nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn <strong>for</strong>mat.<br />

mac-source-address-mask (OPTIONAL) Specify which bits in <strong>the</strong> MAC address must<br />

match. If no mask is specified, a mask of 00:00:00:00:00:00 is<br />

applied (in o<strong>the</strong>r words, <strong>the</strong> filter allows only MAC addresses<br />

that match).<br />

count (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword count to count packets<br />

processed by <strong>the</strong> filter.<br />

byte (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword byte to count bytes<br />

processed by <strong>the</strong> filter.<br />

log (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword log to log <strong>the</strong> packets.<br />

monitor (OPTIONAL) Enter <strong>the</strong> keyword monitor to monitor traffic on<br />

<strong>the</strong> monitoring interface specified in <strong>the</strong> flow-based monitoring<br />

session along with <strong>the</strong> filter operation.<br />
