Entering a text string after <strong>the</strong> description command overwrites any previous text string<br />

configured as <strong>the</strong> description. The shutdown and description commands are <strong>the</strong> only<br />

commands that you can configure on an interface that is a member of a Port Channel. Use <strong>the</strong><br />

show interfaces description command to view descriptions configured <strong>for</strong> each interface.<br />

duplex (10/100 Interfaces)<br />

c e s Configure duplex mode on any physical interfaces with <strong>the</strong> speed set to 10/100.<br />
